Seminář „Moderní člověk“ a náboženství se uskutečnil za účasti řady domácích a zahraničních odborníků. Hlavním tématem byl vztah moderní společnosti přelomu 19. a 20. století k otázkám víry a náboženství, k proměnám postojů společnosti i jednotlivců k církevní problematice, křesťanským církvím, a to zejména k církvi katolické. Zvláštní pozornost byla také věnovaná osobě T. G. Masaryka a jeho vztahu k náboženství, církvím a k jejich postavení ve společnosti.

Seminar “Modern Man and Religion” was held with the participation of many Czech and foreign experts. The main topic was the relations of modern society at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries to the issues of faith and religion, attitudes to the transformation of society and individuals to religious issues, Christian churches, especially to the Catholic Church. Special attention was also paid to the personality of T. G. Masaryk and his attitude towards religion, churches and their position in modern society.
