Princip technického řešení spočívá v použití enzymu s kyanidhydratasovou aktivitou, kódovaného genem s přírůstkovým číslem EU282000.1 (GenBank). Vlastním katalyzátorem jsou celé buňky Escherichia coli, nebo buněčný extrakt nebo purifikovaný enzym. Všechny tyto katalyzátory transformují kyanid na formamid.

The principle of the technical solution resides in using the enzyme with cyanide hydratase activity, coded by the gene with the accession no. EU282000.1 (GenBank). The catalyst itself is whole cells of Escherichia coli, or the cell extract or the purified enzyme. All these catalysts transform cyanide into formamide.
