The subject of the paper is the use of water jet technology in the process of delaboration of discarded ammunition. Nowhere is the method currently used to the extent analysed and proposed. The process of delaboration of unsuitable and excess ammunition has still been dangerous or even lethal for man, providin the health risks it represents. The hazardit poses to man´s health and life comes from the nature of the material in various types of ammunition and of different calibres. The major prospect of this research is the proposal of a new technical and operational way of delaboration of medium calibre artillery ammunition. It involves machine, transportation and handling equipment, as well as process, which are projected in 3D models of the entire workplace.
