The paper gives an overview of the Czechoslovak debates on the introduction of sterilizations as a means of pratical eugenics in the 1930s and the practice under the German occupation in the Sudeten German areas in the 1940s. It highlights the role of experts like physicians and lawyers as well as consequences for the victims.
