Cieľom práce je zodpovedať na sériu kritických námietok, ktoré formulovali Ján Bánovský, Pavol Labuda a Jaroslav Peregrin voči pozícii inštrumentálnemu realizmu. Tieto námietky sa týkali predovšetkým vzťahu inštrumentálneho realizmu a interného realizmu, otázky ontologického statusu inštrumentov a evolučného scenára vzniku matematiky.

The aim of this paper is to answer a series of critical objections formulated by Ján Bánovský, Pavol Labuda and Jaroslav Peregrin to the position of instrumental realism. These objections concerned primarily the relationship of instrumental realism and internal realism, the question of the ontological status of instruments, and the evolutionary scenario of the origins of mathematics.
