The growth of the human osteoblast-like MG-63 cells can be positively influenced by the surface nano-roughness and highest number of adhering cells was observed for Sq roughness of 30 nm. It is worth to state here that the approach followed in this work can be easily extended to other materials of different properties as well to combine it with methods that are commonly used to produce surfaces with micro-roughness
