The aim of this study was to deretmine the differences in the OC and EC between a rural and an urban backround environment, and thus identify better any anthropogenic influence on this type of atmospheric aerosols. Moreover, based on the temperature during the investigation, the OC fractions with different volatility and so-called pyrolytic carbon which is evolved during the analysis are further studied.
