Recenze představuje sborník studií založených na empirickém výzkumu, jejichž společným rysem je kombinování kognitivnělingvistického a sociolingvistického přístupu, a shrnuje vývoj a pozici nového oboru, který se touto kombinací vyznačuje – kognitivní sociolingvistiky.

The review presents the book comprising studies based on the empirical research, whose common feature is the combination of cognitive linguistics and sociolinguistics approach. The review also summarizes the development and current position of the new field, for which this kind of combination is typical, namely cognitive sociolinguistics.
