Series of metakaolinite-based geopolymer composites containing from 9.1 to 44.5 wt% of graphite were prepared by mixing of metakaolinite, sodium silicate solution (water glass) and graphite powder. Prepared materials were investigated by XRD, SEM, and DTA measurements. The increasing content of graphite in the composite increases the electric conductivity of the material, measured by Four Point Resistivity method. The specific conductivity of the prepared materials is stable up to 300 degrees C and almost independent on temperature. The resulting materials can be copperized to get a, cupriferous like body.
