    X-ray imaging and tomography of delamination flaws inside carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) and honeycomb components are highly challenging tasks as delamination itself has a very low volume and poor contrast in comparison with the surrounding CFRP structure. Consequently, delamination is difficult to observe directly by X-rays. Nevertheless, advanced instrumentation together with suitable processing of radiograms enables clear visualization and also tomographic reconstruction of delamination flaws inside of CFRP and honeycomb components.
