Text se zaobírá vztahem Viktora Knappa a civilistů obou německých států v období do počátku 70. let. Vycházejíc z Knappových válečných prožitků (mj. zahubení obou rodičů v Osvětimi) a z Knappova pokusu pochopit podstatu nacismu sepsáním knihy o nacistické právní filosofii (1947), studie podává historické informace o Knappově přednáškových a studijních návštěvách v Lipsku a východním Berlíně v 50. letech, stejně jako o intenzifikaci jeho kontaktů s kapitalistickým západním Německem v průběhu 60. let, zvláště pak s univerzitami v Tubinkách, Marburku a s nově založenou univerzitou v Řezně.

The paper focuses on the relationship of Viktor Knapp and Civil law scholars of both German states until early 1970s. Starting with Knapp's WWII experiences (including the murder of his parents in Auschwitz) and with Knapp's attempt to comprehend Nazism through his study on the Legal Philosophy of Nazism (1947), the paper gives historical informations about Knapp's teaching and research visits in Leipzig and Berlin (East) in the 1950s as well as about intensification of his contacts with capitalist western Germany during the 1960s, especially with universities in Tübingen, Marburg and with the newly established university of Regensburg.
