Anotace v angličtině (délka v rozsahu 64 až 1000 znaků včetně mezer), (+ česky pouze tehdy, je-li příspěvek v češtině) In our study, we have measured eye movements of 31 participants in MOT task. Each participant saw 5 different MOT trajectories repeatedly over 6 blocks. In each block, each trajectory was presented twice - once in the original condition and once flipped around y axis. Previously, we have shown that the flipped trajectories evoke similar, but slightly different scan patterns (Dechterenko & Lukavsky, 2013). Here, we evaluated the similarity of scan patterns using three distinct methods (direct group comparison, pairwise comparison and group pairwise comparison). The current results confirmed there is a significant drop-off in consistency when using symmetrical trials instead of identical trials. However it is still possible to use flipping to mask the repetition due to the strong correlation (r=0.84) between groups of trajectories consisting only of identical trials and groups of trajectories consisting from trials and their flipped variant.
