The problem of cement concrete resistance to high temperatures became topical after more frequent car accidents, heavy good vehicles in particular, in tunnels with an outbreak of fire as a result of an accident. Tunnel lining is exposed to intensive temperature released as a result of fire with the temperatures high above 1000 ˚C. The inner part of lining is exposed to various temperature intensities depending on the distance from the fire. Owing to water steam expansion in concrete as a result of temperature-time exposure, concrete surface is cracking and concrete layers are peeled off from various depths and thus the lining is secondary damaged. Appropriate composition of concrete, selection of binder of cement composite material and selection aggregate, additions and/or adding dispersed polypropylene fiber reinforcement can reduce destructive action of high temperature.
