    Titanium dioxide doped by ferric ion is able to the efficient sunlight absorption and thereby increase the photocatalytic activity of TiO2. Ferric ion (Fe3+) has an important effect in photocatalytical process. Its role consists in the sensitizing of TiO2 particles which leads to the increase of the OH radical concentration in solution. This study is focused on the Fe-doped TiO2 film preparation by the sol-gel technique and on characterization of their structural properties.
