Autor zpracovává dějiny skupiny Osma na základě podrobného studia pramenů. Věnuje se jí zejména z hlediska souvislostí s vývojem pražské Akademie před rokem 1900 a ve vztahu k etnické příslušnosti jejích členů.

The author deals with the history of the Osma Group based on new detailed archive studies. He treats the group mainly in relation to the development of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts before 1900 and in relation to the ethnicity of its protagonists.
