Příspěvek se zabývá metodologickým přístupem studie E. F. Couceira, upozorňuje na nezmíněné nebo posunuté aspekty termínu 'český národní humanismus', odkazuje zejména na nutnost vnímat existující literární interpretace na základě faktorů určujících dobu.

This article takes issue with the methodological approach taken by Couceiro's study, referring to the unmentioned or distorted aspects of the issues behind 'Czech national humanism'; it refers in particular to the need to perceive literary interpretations on the basis of the factors determining the period.
