    The data show that social stress induces changes in enzymes of local metabolism of glucocorticoids (11HSD1, CYP7B1)in lymphoid organs and in brain structures associated with the regulation of the HPA axis. It is concluded that 11HSD1 might play a role in modulation of glucocorticoid feedback of the HPA axis during stress
