Michail Bakunin patřil k výrazným osobnostem evropského revolučního a anarchistického hnutí zejména druhé poloviny 19. století. A to nejen s ohledem na jeho bouřlivé životní ruské a evropské životní peripetie, ale také svým revolučním myšlenkovým potenciálem. Tehdy se s jeho politickými myšlenkami a jeho praktickou aktivitou v evropském dělnickém hnutí vydělil anarchistický směr se svébytnou antiautoritářskoui orientací s proticírkevním a protináboženským zaměřením.

Mikhail Bakunin was one of the major figures in European revolutionary and anarchist movement, especially the second half of the 19th century, and not only with regard to his stormy life of Russian and European life events, but also its revolutionary intellectual potential. Then with his political ideas and practical activity in the European labor movement divided by anarchist direction as an independent anti-authoritarian orientation with anti-religious focus.
