Recenze představuje knihu Jamese Wilsona Moravians in Prague, která shrnuje výzkum jazykového chování moravských studentů pobývajících v Praze. V článku se klade velká pozornost na popis jednotlivých kroků Wilsonova výzkumu. Výzkum je následně zhodnocen, vztažen k českému badatelskému kontextu a je poukázáno na některé jeho problematické aspekty.

Review presents the book by James Wilson called Moravians in Prague. This book summarizes the research of language behavior of Moravian students staying in Prague. In review, a great deal of attention is paid to description of every important step of Wilson’s research. Wilson’s research is also evaluated and there is pointed to its connections with Czech research tradition in this field. The some problematic aspects of research are mentioned too.
