It includes several dozens various fabrics preserved on the surface of items left in tombs dated to the 8th through 10th centuries. Besides the textile finds, some direct evidence will be presented of textile production at the location, in the form of textile-production tools. The presented finds from Mikulčice represent the largest set of textile fragments from the Early Middle Ages to have been found and processed in the Czech Republic.
