The paper discusses the cultural atmosphere of Moravia in the first third of the 16th century. It deals with the relationship between the oeuvre of the Master of Olomouc Madonnas and the works ascribed to Jacob Beinhart as well as to other Wroclaw workshops active the in the same period.
