Předneseno na:BIOELECTRICS 2013 – 10th International Bioelectrics Symposium,Karlsruhe,16.09.-19.09.2013, In this work we studied in vivo effects of focused tandem shock waves on the tumor tissue using TUNEL and DAPI fluorescence staining techniques. Lewis strain rats with syngeneic sarcoma transplanted into thighs were used as experimental animal model, tandem shock waves were generated by multichannel underwater discharge plasma. Necrotic and apoptotic changes induced by shock waves in tumor tissue were analyzed. The localization and the shape of tissue damage in form of a cone-shaped region correlated with the direction and the shape of shock wave propagation, which was determined in water using high speed shadowgraphy.
