Konference se zabývala návratovou migrací Čechů ze zahraničí, spoluprací státních orgánů se zahraničními Čechy a legislativou týkající se krajanů. Konference se též zabývala příklady krajanské spolupráce v okolních zemích. Přednášejícími byli čeští a zahraniční vědci.

The conference was focused on return migration of the Czechs abroad, on co-operation of the state bodies with Czechs abroad and the legislation dealing with foreign Czechs. Referees also discussed instances from neighbouring states. Lecturers were academicians of the Czech as well as foreign provenance.
