This paper presents general concepts implemented in a software tool that provides an environment where designs that are partially and dynamically reconfigurable can be processed in order to be implemented on FPGAs that support this technology, such as the Atmel AT40K and AT94K series. The function of the tool is demonstrated on a simple real-world example.

Přestože dynamická rekonfigurace na obvodech FPGA stále není plně využívána komunitou návrhářů FPGA obvodů, protoze dosud nebyl uveden jednoduchý přímý postup návrhu a CAD nástroje poskytují pouze základní podporu dynamické rekonfigurace. Tento text prezentuje obecný postup celého návrhu a nabízí prostředí, ve kterém lze vytvářet návrhy podporující dynamickou rekonfiguraci až po implementaci do FPGA obvodu jako je např. Atmel AT40K a AT94K. Funkčnost nástroje je předvedena na jednoduchém reálném příkladu.
