In the present paper we first recall the notion and examples of random point processes, including the counting process, the cumulative process and marked process. The main body of the paper deals with the analysis of heterogeneity in the framework of counting process intensity model, and with the methods of solution - evaluation of individual heterogeneities and corresponding probability distribution. A simple example illustrates the method.
