We discuss the recently proposed method of interactive user-friendly presentation of census results by means of the probabilistic expert system PES. The method is based on estimating a probabilistic model of the original microdata in form of a discrete distribution mixture which can be used as a knowledge base of PES. The final software product derives the statistical census information interactively from the estimated model without any risk of disclosure of individual respondents.
