Constructions within the class of semigraphoids, especially duality, minors, majors, factors and expansions (the last three ones for the first time) are discussed. The canonical semigraphoids with two generators are described. Two classes of semigraphoids, arising from linear subspaces of a space and from random vectors, are studied and constructions within the classes discussed.
