Článek shrnuje disertační práci Josefa Špidlen, která převážně studuje možnosti reprezentace elektronického zdravotního záznamu. Obsaženy jsou pilotní implementace založené na nových technikách, flexibilních strukturách popsaných prostředky teorie grafů, XML a moderní aplikační architektuře. Navíc je analyzováno několik telemedicínských přístupů včetně mobilní Javy. Na některé z nových technologií byly podány České patentové přihlášky.

The paper summarizes Josef Spidlen's Ph.D. theses, which mainly studies possibilities of electronic health record representation. It includes several pilot implementations based on novel techniques, flexible structures described by means of graph theory, XML, and modern application architecture. Moreover, in analyzes the usability of several telemedicine approaches including mobile Java. Some of the novel technologies have been applied for Czech National Patents.
