Celkem 591 pacientů s jistou diagnózou RS v různem stadiu nemoci bylo zahrnuto do studie pro zmapování faktorů, které zapříčiňují vznik osteoporózy. Dále jsme se také rozhodli vyšetřit stav kostní tkáně u tohoto rozsáhlého reprezentativního souboru pacientů s RS, který pokrývá celý rozsah hybného postižení, délky choroby i podávání steroidů.

In total 591 patients with definite diagnosis of disseminated sclerosis were included in the study for mapping factors that cause the birth of osteoporosis. We also decided to examine the condition of osteo tissue in this representative sample of patients, that covers the whole range of the motoric handicap, length of illness and usage of steroids.
