Článek souhrnně pojednává o historii a současné praxi zabezpečování spisové služby v Akademii věd ČR. Úvodní kapitoly jsou věnovány vzniku Archivu AV ČR a stručné historii spisoven a archivů českých vědeckých institucí (18. - 20. století), které byly v rámci reorganizace vědy v ČSR v roce 1952 zrušeny a jejich materiály uloženy v Archivu AV ČR. Následuje popis vývoje spisové služby v rámci Akademie v širším kontextu archivní problematiky. Důraz je kladen na zachycení procesu zavádění elektronické spisové služby v souvislosti s eGovermentem.

The article discusses the history and current practice of records management at the Czech Academy of Sciences. Introductory chapters are devoted to the creation of the Archive of Academy of Sciences (AAS) and a brief history of the registries and archives of Bohemian scientific institutions (18th-20th century), which were part of the reorganization of science in Czechoslovakia in 1952 abolished and their materials deposited in the Archive of AAS. The following is a description of the evolution records management within the Academy in the broader context of archival issues. The emphasis is on capturing the process of introducing electronic records management related to eGovernment in Czech Republic.
