Great influence on ecosystems has so called dry deposition. Dry deposition is a deposition of air-borne dust contained in the atmosphere. Many authors considered with the influence of air-borne dust on human health, the particle size distribution, the time of their concentration or with the chemical or mineralogical composition of particles contained in the atmosphere. This study deals with the dust content in atmospheric precipitation. Attention is to the influence of liquid precipitation to the quantity of dust in the atmosphere. There are also used results from the project whose aim was to review share of one dust source to dustiness of the whole locality.
