Vila Hvězda v Praze (1555-1558) je jednou z nejvýznamnějších renesančních staveb na sever od Alp. Vila byla inspirována italskou renesancí, ale její originální architektura a bohatá štuková výzdoba má v Itálii jenom málo analogií.
The villa Star in Prague (1555-1558) is one of the most notable monuments of Northern Renaissance. Its unique structure and elaborate stuccoed ceilings have few parallels in Italy. The present publication is the first monograph examining the architecture, decoration and function of the Star.
