    The main objective of the presented study was focused on preparation of the electrospun polymeric supports based on poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene) oxide loaded with monometallic catalytic nanoparticles based on platinum. Both, the catalytic activity and selectivity of the prepared nanofibrous catalysts were investigated through the model gas-phase reaction based on the total oxidation of methanol attractive from the point of view of environmental applications (catalytic oxidation of VOC).
