    In this contribution will be discussed formation of morphology of novel high-surface area poly(divinylbenzenes). Exceptional feature of these polymers is fact that unlike all other styrenic high-surface area materials they contain almost no micropores. Specifically there will be discussed the role of water as a component of the porogenic solvent on formation of the special foam-like morphology of the novel poly(divinylbenzenes).
