Antonín Lojek and Peter Brezina review an interesting book - Pojem osoby v právu: Osoba, morální osoba, právnická osoba [The Notion of Person in Law: Person, Moral Person, Legal Person]. The author of this book investigates the legal concept of a “person” in history, finding references in various codifications. This historical notion is later linked with more recent legal implementations, especially in the Czech law. The author reach the conclusion that a person in legal sense is “a subject of law that can be duly identified, has the capacity of independent legal action and is responsible for own actions”.
