We review and discuss experimental results on electron transport in various forms of granular diamond. Manifestations of the mixed dimensionality in nitrogen doped ultrananocrystalline and hydrogen-terminated nanocrystallline diamond films are analyzed. Role the disorder and grain boundaries in the superconductivity of highly boron doped nanocrystalline diamond is examined as well.
