Two standard methods were used for determination of texture properties the high-pressure mercury porosimetry and physical adsorption of inert gases. The high-pressure mercury porosimetry that is based on the capillary law governing liquid (mercury) penetration into pores. Mercury porosimetry is performed nearly exclusively on automatic commercial instruments that differ mainly in the highest operative pressure, which determines the size of smallest attainable pores. The physical adsorption of inert gases is based on the adsorption and desorption of inert gas (nitrogen) on the whole surface of the sample at the same temperature. The adsorption and desorption isoterms were measured as usually in the range of p/p0 0.001 to 0.999 in a liquid nitrogen. The pore-size distribution (PSD), surface area (SBET), surface of mesopores, volume of micropores were evaluated from obtained data by suitable methods.
