Troger's base derivatives attract attention of scientists particularly due to inherent chirality and the rigid V-shape. The features are often utilized in preparations of molecular receptors for a sensor construction. Direct electrical transducers for such receptors are highly demanded but not yet realized. Nanocrystalline diamond has proven itself as a very good material for diverse electrical sensors. In addition, it provides an excellent and stable grafting support for molecules.
