    Ce-doped A2SiO5 (A=Lu,Y or Lu,Gd) orthosilicates grown by LPE method were investigated. Summary of their luminescence and scintillation properties are presented., eg. positions of Ce3+ energy levels in Lu1/Y1 or Lu2/Y2 sites were detemined.
