    The possibility was tested to induce potent and long-lasting tumor-specific immunity during the treatment of experimental cancer with targeted water-soluble polymer based on N-(2-hydroxypropyl) methacrylamide (HPMA) containing doxorubicin. The drug (doxorubicin; DOX) was bound to its polymeric carrier through low pH-sensitive hydrazone bond from which drug is released only intracellularly in endosomes and lysosomes
