This study determines the efficiency of polyaluminium chloride application on phytoplankton species as a consequence of five reservoir restorations in the Czech Republic. Tha assessment includes a characterization of physico-chemical parameters of water, the impact on phytoplankton species, zooplankton and fish after the application of coagulan into the water bodies (Machovo lake, Plumlov reservoir and lagoon of Nove Mlyny reservoir).
