    The review describes spatial navigation changes during aging and in Alzheimer’s disease and their importance for early diagnosis. Besides memory impairment, and important sign of spatial disorientation in Alzheimer's disease seems to be pathological changes in parietal lobe. The medio-temporal lobe function deteriorates already during healthy aging
