V této kapitole autoři ukazují, že rozdělení dětí do dvou skupin podél hranice tří let na ty, které mohou navštěvovat denní zařízení péče o děti, a ty, pro které mají být denní centra péče o děti nebezpečná, není založeno na vědeckých teoriích a zdaleka se neobjevuje ve všech zemích.
The chapter reveals that the myth that children below the age of three do not benefit from quality daycare is not based on current scientific knowledge and that the myth does not exist in all countries.
