Sperm proteinf of ejaculated and in vitro capacitated boar sperms were isolated by different agents and characterized by 1D, 2D protein profiles, glycoprotein staining and substrate zymographic methods. Results have shown the quantitative differences in 1D and 2D protein profiles depending on the isolation protocols. Diffrences were observed between protein profiles of ejaculated and capacitated sperm as well. Glycoprotein profiles were roughly the same as 1D profiles. Zymograms supported the prediction that using various isolation protocols gives various profiles of enzymytically active molecules. Preliminary studies shown that employing various isolation methods gives different protein profiles.
