The used excimer pulse laser systhem provides precision laser energy control (shallow tissue penetration) and safe wavelength (ultraviolet – 308 nm), which decreases the risk of perforation and thermal injury to the treated vessels. We report the technical and clinical outcomes with atherectomy for complex peripheral arterial occlusive disease in high-risk patients with critical limb ischemia. Clinical examination, duplex ultrasound, and ankle-brachial index were standard performed before the treatment and in follow-up. In addition to the conventional minimal invasive techniques represents the laser assisted angioplasty in selected patients a competent therapy option.
