Článek se zabývá otázkami, spojenými se stavbou kopie královského zámku v Postupimi, zbořeného po r. 1945. Tato residence měla zcela výjimečný význam jak pro pruské dějiny, tak i pro evropskou architekturu 18. století. Navíc měla zcela zásadní postavení v urbanismu historického centra města.

Article deals with the reconstruction of the demolished (after 1945) residence of prussian kings in the historic center of Potsdam. The residence had a fundamental meaning as well in the history as for the European architecture of the 18th century. It also served as an urbanistic focal point of the historic centre of the town.
