Analýza obsahové stavby, veršové struktury a použitých jazykových prostředků ukazuje, že staročeská žákovská píseň Naše sestra Jana obsahuje rysy umělé i folklorní lyriky a vznikla z několika zdrojů a že je třeba rovněž opravit některé omyly dosavadních editorů.

The analysis of topic and verse structure and of used linguistic means shows, the Old Czech students´ song Our Sister Jane contains some features both of artificial lyric poetry and of folk songs, it has been put together from several texts and, last but not least, it is also necessary to correct some errors of previous editors.
