We are presenting a study measuring the dependence of cardiac out¬put on heart rate during rest in patients with an implanted pacemaker. The heart rate was changed artificially by pacemaker programming. No exercise and no drugs were applied. The measurement of cardiac out¬put was performed by electrical impedance cardiography. The results of 44 patients are presented in this study.
