In this study the effect of various stress multiaxiality was investigated for Eurofer97 steel in fully plastic regime. The tests of smooth and notched round tensile bars were performed. The fracture surfaces and the area beneath the fracure surfaces of tested specimens were fractographycally and metallographycally analysed to quantify the fractions and the shape of the voids. The incresing multiaxiality in the specimen's centre increases the stress characteristics and decrease of deformation characteristics of the test. In the same manner the void nucleation process is restricted contrary to void growth process which is promoted. The results of analyses will be used for calibration of the parameters of the Gurson-Tvergaard-Needleman model.
