V druhé části druhého svazku dějin politického myšlení je podán systematický a kritický výklad politického myšlení od krize středověku až po evropskou reformaci. Velká pozornost je věnována Dantemu, Ockhamovi a Marsiliovi, státní theologii Karla IV., počátkům konciliarismu, ideovým kořenům reformace v Českých zemích, Janu Husovi, husitskému hnutí, Petru Chelčickému, Mikuláši Kusánskému a evropské reformaci.

In the second book of the second volume of the History of Political Thought series there is given a systematic and critical presentation of the political thought from the crisis of the Middle-ages to the European reformation. Significant attention is paid to Dante, Ockham, Marsilius, state theology of the Emperor Charles IV, beginnings of the conciliarism, ideological roots of the Bohemian reformation, John Hus, Hussite movement, Peter Chelčický, Nicholas of Cusa and to the European reformation.
